PVE Offensive Moves Caption
- Mud Slap is preferable since Excadrill is primarily used as a Ground-blazon attacker.
- Mud Shot falls backside in performance due to considerably junior damage output.
- Metallic Claw in a nutshell performs better from a stats perspective, but isn't as useful in exercise.
- Convulsion is stronger than Drill Run, simply the subsequently is more than reliable due to being 2-bar. Either should be run with Mud Slap.
- Iron Head tin can pair with Metallic Hookif a Steel-type aggressor is needed, simply Excadrill isn't the best for this part.
- Rock Slide lacks STAB and has little use.
PVE Defensive Moves Explanation

- Mud Shot has poor harm output for defense.
- Iron Head sports the primeval impairment window, and is the hardest to contrivance.
- Rock Slide doesn't become STAB, but information technology is difficult to dodge and offers greater coverage.
- Drill Run is a bit slower than the others, only even so performs okay on defence.
- Earthquake is too deadening for defense.
PVE Overview
For a long time, Excadrill was anticipated as a Ground-type attacker with real potential. And then Excadrill was released, and met those anticipations beautifully. Excadrill's ability and laundry-list of resistances make it agreatPokemon in many raids, and one that tends to be surprisingly tanky against many top raid bosses that are weak to Ground.
